– 27 teams formed for intensive investigation against illegal mining of gravel.

Director of Mines Department, Bhagwati Prasad Kalal has said that the state government has taken strict action against illegal mining, transportation and storage of gravel and has started intensive checking and action campaign in the gravel affected areas. For this, 27 teams have been formed by including departmental officers and home guard personnel in the team. In the campaign, coordination will be made with the district administration and police administration and cooperation of the police team at the local level will also be taken.
Director Mines was holding a review meeting regarding illegal mining of gravel with senior officials of the department at Kalal Khanij Bhawan, Jaipur. He said that the government is serious about illegal mining, transportation and storage of gravel in the state. Keeping this in mind, Tonk, Deoli, Kekri, Ajmer, Kota, Bundi, Jhalawar, Bhilwara, Shahpura, Bhilwara, Chittor, Jodhpur, Pali, Sojat, Sirohi, Jalore, Barmer, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Karauli, Sawai Madhopur and Rupwas. Teams have been formed for intensive investigation campaign in Adi.
Bhagwati Prasad Kalal said that the teams formed by the department for intensive investigation campaign have been authorized under Rules 54, 56 and 62 of RMMCR 2017 to take action outside the scope of work. Additional Director Vigilance PR Ameta has been made in-charge of monitoring the action being taken by the teams formed for the intensive investigation campaign at the headquarters level.
