The Amarnath Cave Temple, located in the majestic Himalayas of Jammu and Kashmir, is one of the most revered pilgrimage sites in India. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the cave is famous for the naturally occurring ice Shiva Lingam, which forms annually and attracts thousands of devotees during the Amarnath Yatra, held in July and August. Situated at an altitude of around 3,888 meters, the journey to the cave is both spiritually uplifting and physically challenging, passing through breathtaking landscapes and snow-clad mountains.
