– Change in rules for admission in Kendriya Vidyalaya

Bhopal Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has announced the schedule for admission from class 1 to 11 for the academic session 2024-25. The admission registration process for Class I will be held from 1st April 10 am to 15th April 5 pm through online mode on the portal link given below. This time Kendriya Vidyalaya has made many changes in the rules. Under this, now the number of children in one section for class first has been increased to 32. Earlier this number was 40. In which 8 seats, OBC 8, SC 5 and ST 2 seats have been reserved under RTE. This change has come in the admission rules, admission will be given in classes from class 2 onwards only if there are less than 32 children in the concerned class. For admission from class 2 to 9, if there are vacancies in a particular class, registration will be done in the school through offline from 01 April to 10 April 2024. Entry available on transfer of parents has also been limited to central employees. Like all types of admission quotas had already been stopped in Kendriya Vidyalaya. From session 2024-25, there are no longer any places under special provision for single girl child. In previous years, two single girl child girls used to get admission under this quota which has now been discontinued. According to the new education policy, it is mandatory for the child to complete 6 years of age by 31st March for admission in class first. The selected, awaited list of all the registered students of class I will be released on 19 April 2024. Registration for admission in class 11th will be done within the next 10 days after the declaration of class 10th exam results released by CBSE Board.
