Asymptote of a curve can be defined as a line whose distance with curve approaches zero as they approach to infinity. Asymptote of a curve never touches the curve. There are three kinds of asymptotes which are horizontal asymptotes, vertical asymptotes and slant asymptotes. Slant asymptotes are also called as oblique Asymptote.
