Indriyas – The Human Senses

Indriyas aka the Human Senses are desires. Our desires have two state static and dynamic. When desires begin to form our senses are put in motion this is the dynamic state and as soon as our desires are gratified the senses contract and remain in passive or static state.
Our senses are considered as poisonous snakes that act upon their will. And everyone we see in this material world is driven by their senses and hence are servants of their senses. And instead of controlling these senses, action is according to our senses. If we want to make advancement in the spiritual world then we should be able to control these senses like a snake charmer controls the snake from their free will.
