When I retired last year after decades of working as a corporate executive, I thought the most challenging part would be stepping away from I had known for so long. However, as I began to settle into retirement, I realised I faced another unexpected challenge, is what to do with all the furniture and office essentials I had accumulated over the years. These weren’t just ordinary items it’s a symbol of my career, each piece holding memories of hard work, late nights, and successful projects. Letting go of them felt like letting go of a part of myself.
