– Second petition demanding removal of Kejriwal from the post of Chief Minister is also rejected

New Delhi: The Delhi High Court refused to consider the second PIL seeking removal of jailed Arvind Kejriwal from the post of Chief Minister in an alleged liquor scam. The High Court said on this matter that sometimes personal interest has to be subordinated to national interest.
Delhi High Court has also rejected the second petition filed to remove Arvind Kejriwal from the post. Even before this, the court has rejected such a petition. The court says that this kind of judicial intervention cannot happen. The court said that how can we say that the Delhi government is not working. The Lieutenant Governor is capable of taking any kind of decision. The court has said that only the Lieutenant Governor or the President is capable of taking a decision in this matter. The court has refused to give any order in such a situation. After this the petitioner withdrew his petition. The petitioner says that he will go to the Lieutenant Governor and appeal in this matter.
Earlier, a petition has been filed in the High Court against the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Delhi High Court had reserved its decision in this regard on April 3 itself. Let us tell you that Arvind Kejriwal's lawyers have time only till today, when they can give written arguments. It is also expected that an order may be issued today by the High Court on the petition of the Aam Aadmi Party Chief.
